What is a failed slip test?
An in-situ AS 4663 result that sits below the HB 198 or NCC classification for that area. The report is the measurement. The handbook or the Code is the target. The fail is the gap. How we read it.
Can you start from a phone call without the PDF?
We can talk. We will not quote a path from “the kitchen failed”. Attach the report.
What P-rating should a commercial kitchen hold?
HB 198:2014 Table 3B recommends P5 for commercial kitchens and undercover loading docks. We do not invent a higher or lower class to make the quote easier.
What about a hospital bathroom?
Table 3B recommends P3 for bathrooms and ensuites in hospitals and aged-care facilities, and P2 for wards and corridors. A hospital bathroom is not specified as P5 in that table.
Do you guarantee the floor will pass after the works?
No. No pass guarantee, and no claim that a treatment produces P5 on a timetable. We quote a path we believe is capable of closing the gap. The retest is the measurement.
Is the works report a compliance certificate?
No. The works report describes what was done. Compliance — if anyone is asking for that word — sits with the building, the duty holder, and whatever testing they accept. We will not issue a certificate that says otherwise.

Nationally. Send the site address. We will not tell you we only cover one coast, and we will not describe a home city on this site.
What happens after I upload?
We read the P-gap, name one of the four paths, and send a quote for the works. If you accept, we do the works, then a separate retest if you want the new number on paper.
